Dear colleague!
Enclosed, please find suggestions for changing the rules of SAGIM. The changes have been extensively discussed within the steering committee. The changes are merely minor corrections giving a more precise description of elections and function period for the different positions within the organisation.
The suggested changes are going to be presented at the next general assembly in connection with the Nordic gastromeeting in Reykjavik from the June 10-13, 2001. The general assembly is scheduled to the 12th June 2001, 17.00 hours.
As usual SAGIM will have a scientific session at the Nordic gastromeeting together with a session of free papers on gastrointestinal motility. The guest lectures will be:
You are strongly encouraged to submit a paper, and there will be an award on 10.000 SEK for the best abstract submitted. The three past presidents will judge the abstract. Authors and institution will be blinded for the election committee. Original and innovative abstracts will have a high priority.
