   The Bergen Ultrasound Motility Day 28-29/10 -2004 

Scandinavian Association for Gastrointestinal Motility (SAGIM) was founded in 1987. The objectives of the organization are to:

• increase the knowledge of gastrointestinal motility

• provide methodological insights into the investigation of neurogastroenterology and motility

• guide diagnosis and treatment of motility disturbances

• improve contact between centers studying motility

• publish material on gastrointestinal motility
